In the early 1930s a small group of 15 year boys decided they needed a place to hangout and built fellowship. Over the next few years the Ambassador club was founded.
From sock hops in the 50s and 60s, Disco parties in the 70s to today’s premier event venue location for Portsmouth, VA the organization has been a mainstay rally point for more than 4 generations of Portsmouth residence. Through these activities the foundation as been able to give back to the community throughout the years.
As a non profit organization the Ambassador club foundation now works to give back to the community in many ways. From providing scholarships to assist local people in the community to helping fellow neighbors in their time of need the members strive to give back locally. Often supporting local shelters and other community outreach organizations throughout the year.
